On the bounce of clashes In Abidjan in Yopougon, Port Bouet, a mosque was attacked with grenades, a imam and two faithfuls were killed. This dramatic information was relayed through twitter by @ R2D2V3, journalist in Ivory Coast. Despite numerous attacks mosques by pro-Gbagbo, the international Muslim community does not seem to react. Those targeting mosques would transform the political crisis in religious crisis, the Muslim community in Ivory Coast wishes to avoid the escalation of violence that would lead to more victims. Although imams have decided not to give any orders that would lead to new fighting, this has not prevented the worst. Inna li-Llâh wa inna ilayhi raji’un. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
